Care

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. (2 Cor 1:3-4)

Help

And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.  (1Th 5:14)

Safety

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.  I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.  (John 10:27-29)

Authenticity

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.  (Eph 4:15)

Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.  (Col 3:9-10)

Spiritual Growth

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.  (2 Cor 3:18)

Serving Others

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the  sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.  (Gal 5:13)

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.  (Gal 6:10)
